Type-1 & 2 sheath modular features & add-on components:
By adding mounting holes, removable horizontal-carry "scout" loops, mounting straps, sharpening stone pouch & other options can be attached to the sheath using blackened steel mounting screws. Mounting straps will also enable a 4" bladed knife sheath to attach "piggyback" onto the front of a Tracker/WSK sheath.
Type-1 add-on components have plain finished edges, while Type-2 components have decorative edge stitching.

Made from 1" x 8' Sterling tubular climber's webbing w/mil-spec Nexus hardware. 4000 lb. safety-rated (w/out hardware). Webbing can be used to fabricate an emergency safety harness, but hardware must first be removed.
Attaches to scout loops w/D-rings. A great way to carry larger knives securely or to easily remove around camp. (5oz.) Price = $25.00 + shipping.

MOlded leather w/heavy-duty mil-spec snap closure. Fits a 1/2 x 1 x 4" stone w/enough room for a 1/16" thick ferro rod striker blade. Belt loop is removable to enable attachment onto any sheath equipped with mounting straps (Type-1 or 2 sheaths). (4oz.) Price = $85.00 + shipping.
Stone not included. We recommend a #FAP-14-T (4x1x3/8-1/2") hard Arkansas pocket stone from www.danswhetstone.com as this grade stone works the best with our knives.

Note: Man-made materials such as Micarta, are very stable, require no maintenance, & are the best choice for a virtually indestructible handle.
Natural hardwood handle materials are available upon special request. Inquire into availability.
Although natural materials such as hardwoods, antler, bone, & horn are properly seasoned & cured prior to use, it is natural for these materials to expand
or shrink to adjust to the environments they are subject to. Some materials are more stable than others & we can assist with the best selections.
Because we have no control over the conditions our knives will be subject to after they leave out shop, we cannot guaranty against any natural handle
material movement. We do offer a free labor service to make any corrections if needed (you only pay shipping costs), but recommend a knife experience at
least 6-months in its common environment to permit time for it to settle before any adjustments are made.
